Being one of the most exclusive and diverse commissions of the conference, the Special Conference directly relates to the main theme of KALMUN. Its primary focus, therefore, comprises a variety of aspects of a certain concept, without remaining limited with a direct set of agenda. This year, the Special Conference will be obtaining the theme of KALMUN 2020: ‘’Ensuring a stable and reliable process for Globalization 4.0: obviation of resulting detriment and prejudice while eliminating its deprecating socio-political conclusions.’’ Under the affiliation of the theme itself, the delegates of the Special Conference will be addressing the exploitation of migrant workers, the impact of industrialization on ocean pollution, and the political and economic integration of the developing regions into the globalizing world; in order to tackle the rising sentiments of discrimination and insecurity in the world of and interdependence through a certain mixture of the issues addressed in the main committees of the United Nations General Assembly.
